Barrington Motors Ltd was a British manufacturer of automobiles in the 1930s . 

History 

Barrington Budd tested from 1929 a self-developed two-stroke engine . In 1932 he founded the company in Sheffield for the production of automobiles. The brand name was Barrington . 1936 ended production. Overall, only a few vehicles made. 

The company produced small cars. A three-cylinder two-stroke engine powered the vehicles. In the first prototype of the engine had 782 cc displacement , and in the following models about 900 cc displacement. Rubery Owen was involved in the production of the chassis .Later a larger test car did not go into production.
