Ayrspeed-Manx , previously Manx Cars , was a British manufacturer of kit car automobiles .
Jim Clark founded the company Manx Cars in Riseley , County Berkshire in 1991 . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Manx . In 1998, the name change to Ayrspeed-Manx and the move to Reading , also in Berkshire. Iain Ayr was involved at times. In 2000 the production ended. In total, about nine copies were made.
Fereday Cars from Hartley Wintney , led by Alan Fereday production continued from 2000 to 2002 under the brand name Vario continued.
