The Ashby Motors Ltd. was a British automaker in Chorlton-cum-Hardy in Manchester . 1922 to 1924 there was only one model made.

The 8 hp cyclecar had a four-cylinder inline engine with 969 cc displacement and side valves . The light car had its roots in the aerospace industry, Short Brothers and Harland Ltd. and was built as early as 1921 as Short Ashby were they sold around 130 cars .
