The Mendip Engineering Co. Ltd. . was a British automobile manufacturer in Chewton Mendip ( Somerset ) . 1913-1922

The Mendip 11 hp Built in 1913 with a side-valve 1.1 - litres  four cylinder in-line engine . The chassis of the little car had 2,515 mm wheelbase. 1914, the engine capacity was increased by increasing the stroke of 77 mm to 90 mm and then to 93 mm high to 1.27 litres and 1.3 litres

The First World War ended production. Until In 1919 Production Began again with the same model again , which now had a displacement of 1.25  litres 89 mm stroke . Also the wheel base had shrunk to 2,489 mm. That same year,  released a version with enlarged to 95 mm stroke , which thus had 1.35 litres displacement . The wheelbase grew back to the old level . This version was built unchanged until 1922 when the brand disappeared from the market.
