The Pearson & Cox Ltd.. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Shortlands (Kent) 1913-1917

The firm was already well known for their steam-powered cars and after two years of experiments they produced a Cyclcar

The Pearson-Cox Cyclecar  had  a V-2 engine from JAP with 8 hp (5.9 kW) .
