Sturmey Motors History 

Coventry,Warwickshire UK (1906-1907)


Sturmey Motors was a British automobile manufacturer in Coventry (Warwickshire)  from 1906 to 1907.

There were five different models. They had a series of 8 hp two-cylinder engine with 3.2 liter displacement and was available with 1981 mm or 2286 mm wheelbase. The 18/20 hp was a licensed version of the U.S. Duryea and had a four-cylinder engine with 4.2 liter displacement and a wheelbase of 2591 mm. The larger models used all the same chassis and also had four-cylinder engines. The 20 hp offered also 4.2 liters, the 22 hp 3.7 L and 30 hp 4.6 l

1908, the brand was renamed Lotis.
