Winco History (1913-1916)


Winco was a British automobile brand that was produced 1913-1916 by Stringer & Co., Sheffield (Yorkshire).

The first model, the 8 hp, 1913 came out and was powered by a water-cooled two-cylinder inline engine with 1.12 liters. The 3734 mm long and 1,524 mm wide car had a wheelbase of 2,896 mm and a track width of 1,219 mm.

1915 replaced the 9 hp of this model. The capacity of the otherwise identical vehicle was reduced to 1.07 , the car was offered until 1916.

After the First World War provided the vehicle manufacturer and the name stringer Winco.
