Bristol 2 Ton bus was Introduced in 1923, the Bristol 2 ton is a forward control type chassis with a straight frame. Having a wheelbase of 12ft 6in it was first
produced on solid tyres, although balloon tyres were fitted at a later date. The engine used is a 4-cylinder petrol unit, with 33/4in bore and
Sin stroke, whilst transmission is via a single plate clutch and 4-speed gearbox to an overhead worm rear axle.
Most of the 366 built were operated by Bristol Tramways or West Riding Automobile Services, and production of this model ended in 1927.
To only a single chassis remains.
