from 1989 to 1996.

Adax was a Brazilian kit car brand from the late 1980s to the mid 90s.

History

A company from Fortaleza began producing automobiles in 1989.The brand name was Adax .  1996 ended the production.

The offer included VW buggies . A Chassis of Volkswagen do Brasil formed the basis. An open fiberglass body was mounted on top. Striking was the rollover device in the form of pipes. Two rectangular headlights were integrated into the vehicle front.

First, a water-cooled VW engine powered the vehicles; first time in a Brazilian buggy. The grille was between the square headlights. Later, came air-cooled four-cylinder -twin port Boxer engine with 1,600 cc engine capacity used.  The radiator grille was no longer needed so eliminated.
