Metaalwerken van Antwerpen was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles  that offered vehicles under various brand names in the early part of the 20th century.

History

The company SA de Fabrication de Vélocipèdes et d'Automobiles from the Vaartstraat in Antwerpen- Borgerhout was founded in 1896,  But in 1899 it was renamed Metaalwerken van Antwerpen . At the same time began the production of automobiles. Production ended in 1900 and more focused on the construction of bicycles and tools also sewing machine., and shortly thereafter was renamed Ateliers du Canal . In 1907 the company ended production.

Under brand name Metaalwerken van Antwerpen this brand name a license building of the Leesdorfer was created .Brand name Pittevil This model had a two-cylinder engine from Aster . The power transmission took place with belts.Brand name Phébé This model was also equipped with a built-in motor from Aster.
