FAB Fabrique Automobile Belge

Automotive manufacturer of Belgium From 1912 to 1914.

Fabrique Automobile Belge was a Belgian manufacturer of automobiles from Schaerbeek in the 1910s . The brand name was FAB .

History

In 1912 FAB took over the factory of the bankrupt automobile manufacturer Vivinus in Schaarbeek.

The company produced the four-cylinder models 12/16 CV Type C with 2121 cc displacement and 20/28 CV Type B with 3562 cc displacement. The magneto ignition came from Bosch , the carburetor from Zenith , the transmission had four gears, the brakes acted on the rear wheels and the power transmission (transmission brake).

The vehicles were also used in races with some success. The war prematurely ended production in 1914.
