Direct was a Belgian car brand in the early part of the 20th century.The brand name was Direct

History

The company Societe de Construction Mécaniques et d'Automobiles began in 1904 with the production of automobiles. The work was located on Boulevard Baudouin in Brussels . Ateliers Déchamps was also located in the same building . 

The only model was a large car 40/50 CV was based on a development by Robert Goldschmidt. The big four-cylinder engine was mounted in the front of the chassis and drove the rear axle. The peculiarity was the lack of a gearbox this being transmitted directly to a countershaft driving the rear wheels.

By 1905 the production ended.
