BEDFORD WHB Bus
Launched in 1931, the W HB was one of the first two passenger models to be built under the Bedford name. Having a wheelbase Of
10ft 1 lin this normal control chassis was designed to carry 14-seat bodywork. Powered by a Bedford 6-cylinder 3.18 litre petrol engine,
with 4-speed sliding mesh gearbox, it is fitted with a spiral bevel rear axle.
Braking is of the mechanically operated type, any form of assistance not being considered necessary for this small type of vehicle. Only 102 WHB type chassis were built, the last one being completed in 1933.
