Austin Estate Saloon Bus

From 1911 to 1913

Introduced in 1911, this Austin 'Estate Saloon' was built on a car model chassis of that period.

It is powered by a more high power 4-cylinder 40hp petrol engine of 125mm bore and 127mm stroke, and has a 4-speed gearbox.

The brakes are mechanically operated. Pneumatic tyres were fitted from new, being of the 920 x 120 size. Production of this model chassis continued until 1913.
